How They Met

Brett and Kylie met on Tinder! They went on their first date in August of 2015. Brett came to pick Kylie up at her place and they went to Old Chicago for dinner. They talked the entire meal about anything and everything. Brett had another surprise in store and drove Kylie to Fort Kearney. They walked together down an old dirt road onto the boardwalk and watched the sunset on the Platte River. Once the sun went down, they went to Big Apple Fun Center to go bowling. They ended the night with a sweet kiss!

How He Proposed

They were visiting some family in Denver for a small vacation. They spent the day exploring different sites around Denver, including Red Rocks Amphitheater where Brett proposed! After the proposal, they celebrated by getting ice cream in Golden after some phone calls to family and friends to break the exciting news! The day concluded with a celebratory dinner at BJ’s Restaurant.

Their Wedding

Kearney Nebraska Wedding — Brett and Kylie got married at their church in Kearney, Nebraska. They had family members come from many different surrounding states. Since they got married in October, they had a fall themed wedding and the aisle was decorated with pumpkins and leaves. They chose the colors plum purple, sage green, blush, and a hint of rose gold. It was absolutely beautiful! There were many emotional moments, included Kylie and her dad’s first look, as well as Brett and Kylie’s first look. They celebrated with dinner and dancing at Babel’s Barn.
